Remember back in the day when cruisin' around in Pittsburgh meant blastin' 102.5 WDVE and snort-laughin' at the morning show? Those were the golden days, filled with local news, classic rock, and a crew that could have you clutching your sides guffawing.
We're talking about guys like Scott Paulsen and Randy Baumann and the rest of DVE crew, of course. Those dudes weren't just playing tunes, they were creating comedic gold. They knew how to tap into the collective yinzer spirit and turn it into classic comedy bits.
These were some of our favorites:
#1 CSI Pittsburgh
#2 Pittsburgh Deer Kings
#3 Stanley P -- Roger Waters in Cranberry
#4 Pants N Nat -- Pants for Clunkers
#5 Take a Walk on the Southside
#6 Ralph The Cat -- Anger and Angst
Sure, we still have great radio in Pittsburgh, but there was just something special about those WDVE mornings of yore. Ok guys, we showed you ours, so now it's time for you to show us yours.
