As a Pittsburgh Pirates fan, it's really, really hard NOT to hate Bob Nutting. He's basically the Scrooge McDuck of Major League Baseball. He is the guy who proves that, indeed, there is A LOT of crying in baseball - and club owner who can single handedly drain the magic out of an entire season. Remember that magical 2013 season? Yeah, Nutting put the kibosh on that. Andrew McCutchen? Bye. Gerrit Cole? Adios.
His Grinchy style of baseball has inspired legions of Pirates fans to call for Nutting to sell the Buccos if he won't invest in a winning team.
